Yay! My IPE 2015 package has arrived!

Further to my post showing you my entry for the International Print Exchange, here are the prints that I received back. It’s so exciting when that red envelope plops onto the doormat and you open a lovely (and beautifully presented) little portfolio of  wonderful art, from around the world. I love all of them!

This is my 3rd year participating in this, so I really must get them all framed. I’ll certainly post a photo when I do!

Author: Nancy Power

'Printmaker Nancy Power's work reflects the life around her. Be it a changing rural landscape, the decaying plants in her garden, or her collection of hand crafted ceramics, she finds inspiration from many sources. Deliberately eclectic in subject matter, her work is harmonised by her colour palette and distinctive inking process. Nancy uses the reduction method of lino printmaking; carving away at just one block for each consecutive colour to reveal the final image. By inking from dark to light, as opposed to the more traditional light to dark, Nancy's work has engaging depth and colour layering.'

  1. Ooh, thank you! I love your print too so thank you so much for commenting. I do so love doing this exchange, there are so many different approaches and methods that you start wanting all sorts of new equipment…..

  2. Ooooh, fabulous. I see my ‘Road Trip’ amongst these, bottom left 🙂 So very exciting opening the package isn’t it. I’ve not hand the chance to take a snap of my collection yet; must blog them tomorrow. So many artists this year 🙂
